Lightweight custom apps

Create something to make life easier.

Bring an idea—or simply a frustrating manual process. I ask the right questions, define what the tool actually needs to do and use AI to build a focused first version efficiently.

Typical range: $2,000–$4,000

The problem

You have a problem.  I know how to use AI to help you solve it.

Sometimes a simple, custom online tool can solve a real life problem and make your life much easier.  If you find yourself doing something manually, chances are the process could be improved with an online system.  Maybe it's a booking system, an intake form, a scheduler or simply a presentation.

You describe the people and the problem. I clarify the functionality and the first version.

The plan

Keep the first version focused - and approve it before launch.

01

Describe

Share the idea or recurring problem.

02

Clarify & quote

Define the users, actions and scope and get a quote.

03

Build & review

I build the tool, then you test it and request agreed revisions.

04

Approve & launch

Nothing is released until you approve the tested version.

AN EXAMPLE CLIENT PROJECT

A trailer-rental booking experience.

I created a landing page and a working booking page that shows rental availability, allows guest to book, shows rental terms, sends followup emails and allows the owner of the trailer to log into a dashboard to manage dates, bookings and see money earned.

Good possibilities

Focused tools with a clear job.

  • Booking or registration flows
  • Presentations, portals and private resources
  • Calculators, intake systems and trackers
  • Simple dashboards and early product versions

Is it a fit?

Complexity still matters.

This is a good fit if…

  • A few essential actions solve a clear problem
  • The first version can stay focused
  • You are open to shaping scope through discovery

This is not a good fit if…

  • Demanding compliance or real-time systems are required
  • Many complex integrations are essential
  • A large public launch and rapid scaling are expected
