More attainable

About Simplecraft Digital
I’m Jesse Barton. I’ve been making websites—and running a web design and marketing agency—since 2000. I use that experience, with AI doing the heavy lifting, to make good digital work attainable.

AT YOUR SERVICE
I’ve been building websites since 2000—as a designer, then as the person running a web design and marketing agency. Today I run Fireside Agency, serving established businesses and well-funded startups, where I manage a team of specialists—designers, developers, writers—which has taught me how to direct quality without doing every task myself.
The hardest part of a website or app is knowing what to say, what to build, and what to leave out. That’s the part I’ve been doing for over two decades.
When we work together, I ask the questions that get to the right message, consider how the design helps people understand and act, and manage the practical path from idea to launch. You don’t have to become the strategist, or be responsible for knowing what "good" is.
Why Simplecraft Digital exists
Agencies are built for companies that can afford them—and they do excellent work. But if you’re starting out, running something small, or chasing a personal goal, those rates don’t fit. Neither does wrestling with DIY tools alone, or hiring a developer before you even know what you need.
Simplecraft Digital is where the knowledge from that agency work becomes available to you. I bring the same judgment about brand, message, conversion and technology—but AI lets me produce the work in days instead of weeks or months, so the price finally makes sense for where you're at.
The result is a great starter website, or a tool that simplifies your life or helps you reach a goal—something that’s genuinely better (and takes way less time) than what you could make yourself, at a fraction of a custom build.
AI helps me move through production efficiently, without the overhead of a large agency or custom-development team.
Your audience and goals—not a generic prompt—guide the message, design and functionality.
I remain responsible for editing, testing, decisions and the finished result.
Tell me what you want to accomplish, I'll ask the right questions and we'll get you a quote.
